This fall, we will present a closer look at Jane Austen and Edith Wharton, two beloved female authors who have made tremendous contributions to literature with their commentaries on class, gender, and human relationships. We will discuss what the works of these authors meant during their times and how they continue to remain remarkably relevant to today's world - as seen in today's best-sellers for print, music, and film!
For each author, we'll begin with a Monday afternoon movie screening. Then, the following Thursday afternoon, join us to chat about the book over tea & scones in our cozy Classics room on the 2nd floor.
