Marlene S. Gaylinn shares her reviews on local theatre in Connecticut and New York in the February 2013 edition of her newsletter, On CT & NY Theatre. First up is Ancestral Voices which is being performed at the Music Theatre of CT in Westport through February 17th. This is an intimate play which has five players performing multiple parts. There is lots of dialogue and little action at times. At the Yale Repertory Theatre in New Haven, Stones in His Pockets is on stage until February 16th. In this play, an American film company goes to a small Irish town to film and the chaos that ensues. Finally, Peter Pan is playing at the Palace Theatre in Waterbury. To learn more about these shows and Gaylinn's reviews, please view her newsletter.
The Connecticut State Health Department has issued a reminder of the dangers of carbon monoxide poisoning. The approaching snowfall tomorrow may cause a loss of power. If you are using a genator or outdoor grill, please keep them outside of your home. Carbon monoxide is odorless so you will be unable to detect it by smell. Carbon monoxide poisoning can be fatal.
You should also keep the inlets and outlets of your furnace free of snow. Before you drive your care, please check the exhaust pipe for any snow build up since this could backup carbon monoxide inside the car.
For more information, please see the flyer.
