"The Nutmeg Children's Book Award encourages children in grades 4 - 6 to read quality literature and choose their favorite from a list of ten nominated titles.  Jointly sponsored by the Connecticut Library Association and the Connecticut Educational Media Association."

Listed below are the 2006 Nominees for the Nutmeg Book Award.  These books will be on display in the Children's Room. Read them, then come in and vote for them the Children's Room in January 2006!
