Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Darien Health Department and the Darien Police Department in conjunction with the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) have scheduled another National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on Saturday, April 27th from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. Bring your unwanted prescription drugs to the Darien Recylcing Center at 126 Ledge Road in Darien. This is a great opportunity for those who missed the previous events, or who have subsequently accumulated unwanted, unused prescription drugs, to safely dispose of those medications.
It's quick, easy, and free! Just drive-through and drop-off your old medicine with no questions asked.
So clean out your medicine cabinet and safely dispose of those unwanted drugs to help prevent their misuse or improper disposal this Saturday.
Please note that sharps and hazardous waste will not be accepted!
