The Biggest Job - Laura Gauld Speaks at the Library

Noted speaker Laura Gauld visits Darien to talk about finding the balance between character and achievement in children.
Hear her at the Library on Thursday, November 3 from 7:00 - 8:30 p.m. Director of Family Education Programs for the Hyde Schools in Maine and Connecticut, Laura Gauld will present 10 priorities for teaching values to children.
Laura Gauld is the author of The Biggest Job We'll Ever Have: The Hyde School Program for Character-Based Education and Parenting.

Discuss Trouble Don't Last - Our Last Nutmeg Book of the Fall
Join Darien's Nutmeg buffs for a discussion of Trouble Don't Last, a novel of the Underground Railroad. The discussion group meets Wednesday, November 9 from 6 - 7:30 p.m. Light dinner provided; registration required. Call the Library at 655-1234 x117 to attend.
