Student Holiday Movie

Just in time to keep away the after-holiday blues, the Library will be showing Ice Age – The Meltdown on Thursday, December 28th, at 2:30 p.m.

Here's the info:
Ages: Kindergarten and up with an adult in the building
Rated: PG; 90 minutes
Description: When the valley’s ice starts to melt, Diego, Manny, and Sid must save the day.

Preschool Holiday Movie

Storytime Schedule - Winter 2006

Just wanted to give people a heads up about storytime dates and times. This post will be long, so skim as needed.

Registration is from December 1 through January 5. Storytime is for children ages birth through 6 years of age whose parents are either Darien residents, employed full time in Darien, or contributors to the Annual Campaign for the Darien Library at the $300 level. You may register for storytime on the Children's Website www.darienlibrary.org/children or in person. All storytimes are 30 minutes in length.

Giggles and Rhymes
For pre-walking babies and their caregivers
Thursdays 10:15 a.m.

Born to Read
For walkers up to 24 months and their caregivers
Tuesdays 9:30 a.m.
Tuesdays 10:15 a.m.
Wednesdays 9:30 a.m.
Wednesdays 11:00 a.m.
Thursdays 9:30 a.m.

Side by Side
For children two years old and their caregivers
Tuesdays 11:00 a.m.
Wednesdays 10:15 a.m.
Thursdays 11:00 a.m.
Fridays 9:30 a.m.

Totally Preschool
For three and four year olds
Tuesdays 1:30 p.m.
Wednesdays 1:30 p.m.
Thursdays 1:30 p.m.
Fridays 10:15 a.m.

Bookworms
For five and six year olds
Tuesdays 4:15 p.m.

Sleepytime Stories
For children three to five years old
No registration is required for Sleepytime
Tuesdays 6:30 p.m.

Storytime runs from February 5 through April 5
There will be no storytimes during vacation week, February 19 to 23rd.
Storytimes will not meet Good Friday, April 6.
