for darien.calm.jpg Ahhh! The biofeedback is working. Really! All thanks to Gayle Ascher and Students, and the current Art Exhibit here at the Library. "Ropes and Floats," "Lightly Snowing," "Angelica Mainsail," "Headed for Chatham," "First Light," and "Lavender" - the titles alone of these watercolors could be enough to lower the blood-pressure and calm the nerves! "Country Church," "Vineyard Boathouse, "Chase Pond," "Five Mile River," "Duck Pond," "Winter Barn," "Labor Day," and " Winter Light, Connecticut Woods" are just a few more. Sigh. This new exhibit was hung just this morning and if you haven't guessed already, it's gorgeous and worth a special trip.

The Art Exhibits at the Library are always extraordinary! We are so lucky. We are exposed to the beautiful, the fascinating, the new, and exciting in our ever-changing gallery. We're always sad to see an exhibit come down, but, we eagerly await the next.

And, while you're here, if you're "lookin' for fun and feelin' groovy," take a look at our display case opposite the Circulation Desk! It's a tribute! Baby Boomers Turn 60! And, it is, in a word...groovy!
