Art Exhibition: Award-winning artist Gayle Asher, and his students from the Darien Arts Center, exhibit in the Main Reading Room until February 13, 2006.
Adult Technology Education Programs: Have a question about our downloadable audio books? Maybe you’d like to send some of your holiday photos to friends and relatives, but don’t know how to attach them to your email. Our technology center Open House will give you the opportunity to come in with your questions and meet one-on-one with a member of our tech staff. This program will be held in the Darien Technology Center at Darien Library on Thursday, January 26, 7 to 8:30 p.m.

CHILDREN’S ROOM
Library Detectives: Students in grades 3 and 4 will learn about the Library’s online catalog with instructions on finding children’s books, Thursday, January 19, at 4:15 to 5:15 p.m. The class meets in the Children’s Room, with a limit of five children per session. Register by calling the Children’s Room, 655-1234, x117.
Nutmeg @ Nite trivia content will take place at the Darien Library on Tuesday, January 24 and Wednesday, January 25 from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Students in grades 3 to 6 who have read at least six of this year’s Intermediate Nutmeg titles are invited to register for one of the evenings to test their Nutmeg knowledge. Register by calling the Children’s Room, 655-1234, x117.
Teen Leaders for Nutmeg @ Nite: Teen volunteers needed to assist librarians with the “Nutmeg @ Nite” trivia contest, January 24 or January 25. Register in the Children’s room to help out with either night.
