Friday's Film of the Fearless
The next film of our Friday Film Series will be In the Shadow of the Moon, a documentary about voyaging to the moon...and the men who walked on the moon.
The interviews with the surviving astronauts are not to be missed. Juxtaposed with the archival footage of these men, it's really stunning. We are also treated to some of the original NASA film footage. In 1969, it was a thrill to watch it all unfold on our televisions and we still remember what it felt like to witness such an event. I couldn't even begin to imagine what these brave men must have felt....
...until now. You see it in their faces...hear it in their every word...warning! Goosebump alert!
This lovely package of a film packs a really powerful punch whether you're old enough to remember this period in time or not.
