Give to the Friends of the Library Annual Campaign and then come to the Annual Meeting!
Annual Meeting
Philip Van Munching, author of Boys Will Put You On a Pedestal (So They Can Look Up Your Skirt): A Dad’s Advice for Daughters, will be the featured speaker at the Darien Library Annual Meeting of Friends of the Library on Sunday, October 23 at 5 p.m. Preceding the speaker, election of officers and new trustee nominations for the year 2005/2006 will take place. Plans for the new Library will also be presented. Following the meeting a reception and book signing will be held. The meeting is open to the public.
Annual Campaign
This year’s campaign is focused on getting new donors to give to the Darien Library in order to help the Library buy the things patrons use. All materials purchased, such as books, DVDs, audio books, and author visits, are funded by the Annual Giving Campaign. The more you give, the more you get!
Donations can be made online, at the Library, by mail, or by phone at 655-1234 x125! See the Friends page for more information about the Annual Campaign.
