In Harmony for the Holidays!

Join us on Sunday, December 3rd at 5:30 p.m. for our annual Holiday Program! It's our chance to mix and mingle; to spread (and receive!) some holiday cheer. This festive occasion calls for refreshments (ordered), atmosphere (our building will don its holiday apparel, and we'll even have a fire in the fireplace), and exceptional entertainment (keep reading!). The highlight of the Program on Sunday will be a delightful and fun performance by Acabella.

Acabella is an extremely talented a capella singing group made up of 16 young women from lower Fairfield County. Group members Heather Raker and Carolyn Woodberry stopped in last week and spoke with me and Janet, and we're happy to bring you that interview right here as a podcast!

Acabella's got a terrific repertoire which includes big band tunes, show tunes, old standards, and popular music. Would you like a preview? Here's a sampling from this talented vocal group. Listen...

...and of course there will be holiday music! I have it on good authority that we may sing along, so come one...come all! Don't miss this chance to make some joyful and welcome noise in the Library! Oh what fun!
