Have DVDs, Don't Travel: Maybe, Maybe Not

Not a world traveler at this point in my life, I only recently became aware of the Regional Coding System set up by the motion picture industry in an effort to control DVD viewing around the world. Like it or not, DVDs have replaced videotape cassettes as the preferred medium for audiovisual data. As with any new medium, there's lots to learn about DVDs.
