Technology Education Update
September was a very busy month in the Darien Technology Foundation Center at the Darien Library. The Library's Fall 2006 Adult Technology Education Classes began on Thursday, September 7, with a brand-new class, Keyboarding Skills for Beginning Computer Users. With Diane McKeever at the helm, the class was a big hit! Over the course of the month, we hosted 19 classes/programs, with 148 students in attendance. October promises to be even busier, with new classes on PowerPoint, Advanced Excel, Mail Merge, Website Design, Digital Photography, and Photoshop Elements. Although most of our classes are full with waiting lists, as of today, we have the following openings:
- Advanced Excel: Monday, October 30, 6:30-8:30 p.m., 1 vacancy
- Rare or Just Used: Researching Books on the Web: Thursday, November 13, 6:30-8:30 p.m., 8 vacancies
If you'd like to register for one of the above classes or if you'd like me to add your name to one or more waiting lists, just send me a comment with your name, email address, and phone number. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi Judy,
When do you expect to have the spring tech classes brochure available?
Thanks.
