We Oughta Be In Pictures
...and now we are!
Scenes for the film Fog Warning were shot right here last night! Writer/Director Christopher Ward and crew decended on the Library as soon as we closed, and there were clowns(!)...and talk of vampires(!!), and lots of excitement! Louise, Alan, Erica, and I remained to watch...and Erica and I got to be in the film. I even got to speak..."These pretzels are making me thirsty!"...only kidding...actually, there were two lines: "You understand these are reference books. You can only look at them in this room."
Chris told me that he wrote the script in the library and wrote the scenes filmed last night specifically with our Main Reading Room in mind.
Here are a few pictures from last night's fun...I mean work...I mean fun.
We surveyed the crew for favorite films...check back here later for the results...you'll never guess what (recent) film is still firmly planted in many minds (including mine).

It must have been hard to say "these books have to stay in the library" when you know that we let them go out!
