Barren landscapes? Let's go and see.
There was a time when Las Vegas was considered to be as desolate and remote as the moon. November's dvds let us pay visits to both places. They also offer journeys to other places near and far, past and present, and allow us to experience the results of some very fertile and active imaginations. Are ya' ready?
As usual, November's a huge month for dvd releases (think stocking-stuffers). The newest installment in the "Ocean's" series, Ocean's Thirteen releases on November 13th (of course!). The coolness factor is still intact. Las Vegas looks cool. Its stars are definitely cool. November also sees the very cool documentary Magnificent Desolation Walking on the Moon. Narrated by Tom Hanks, it approximates a visit to the moon.
Our shelves will be anything but barren with the number of titles expected. Look what else we've got coming in November! On your mark. Get set. Reserve!
