Knitting group meets Friday

KLT knitting group meets this Friday, November 3 from 4 to 5 p.m. We'll also meet Friday, November 17 at the same time. This Friday we'll be sewing together the squares for Warm Up America (Yes! We actually have enough), a project which may continue to the 17th. See you there!
Kudos on the hat and scarf donations. We have over 30 items and more keep coming in. Bring in your projects by November 17th for winter delivery to victims of domestic violence. Thanks again!

Ok, no pictures (yet) but tons of thanks!
So, the flash card reader is downstairs, so I'm not able to post any of the pictures from last night's So Long, Snicket event (yet!), but that won't stop me from saying thank you to our numerous teen volunteers. They taped up paper flames, they hung streamers, they tied a murder of crows and a den of snakes to the Library's railings. What's more, they are all the patrons are talking about today. I keep hearing adult patrons asking the Circulation Librarians how last night's event went. The truth is, the event's success was due in large part to the enthusiasm of our teen volunteers. Not only did they decorate, but they were team captains, photographers, and we even had one teen give us a 6 hour violin concert (If you've read Lemony Snicket, you understand the significance)! Thanks again; as always, we're grateful.
