One Book One Community for Kids

The Inquisitor's Apprentice
The Inquisitor's Apprentice

We are so excited about this year's One Book One Community, and the Children's Library has some great ways for kids to participate, too.

Check out the Children's Library OBOC pick, The Inquisitor's Apprentice by Chris Moriarty.  This story is historical fiction, set in the early 20th century on the Lower East Side of Manhattan, but also has touches of mystery and magic!

We have two great One Book One Community programs coming up in March.

On Monday, March 26 from 5 to 6 p.m., register for our Magic Workshop with Peter Boie and learn simple magic tricks using everyday, houshold items.  Ages 7 to 11.

On Wednesday, March 28 from 6 to 7 p.m., kids and a grown-up are invited to join us for a Family Book Group discussion of The Inquisitor's Apprentice.  Bring your grandparent, parent, or sibling!  Register online.  Ages 9 to 12.
