Have You Been Carded at the Library?
Well, have you? You may have noticed that many of our wonderful Front Desk Staff have been asking if you have a Library card. We hope the answer is yes. But if you answered no, don't worry. September is Library Card Sign-up Month, and you can get a card quite easily. Come visit the Front Desk or our website, answer a few questions, and there you go, your own Library card!
A Darien Library card allows you to reserve and renew materials online, gives you access to our many information-packed databases, and gets you through the check out line more quickly. We think of our website as a virtual branch, so log in and use us. You just need the barcode on the back of your card to launch yourself into a bevy of resources. And once you have that card, you can visit ANY public library in the state and check out materials. So expand your Library horizon...get carded!
