Darien Library is beginning a monthly parent discussion group for parents of kids ages 9 to 12. Moira Rizzo, LMFT, will be facilitating discussions on a variety of topics including gender, self-esteem, technology, managing sports, and sexuality. Resources such as Parenting Preteens with a Purpose: Navigating The Middle School Years by Kate Thomsen, and Raising a Digital Child: A Digital Citzenship Handbook for Parents by Mike Ribble will be provided by the Library.
