Opening Reception Friday, March 21st at 6 p.m.

An exhibition of photographs entitled “Street Vibes- Places and Faces of Nicaragua” will open at the Darien Library on March 19th. The work by Tom Kretsch is the culmination of yearly visits to Nicaragua as part of the Norwalk Sister City Project, a non-profit that he serves on as a board member. Tom has traveled to various parts of Nicaragua including Granada, San Juan Del Sur, Leon and Nagarote where the project has helped a very poor barrio for over 25 years. With a keen eye and a wandering spirit, Tom has observed and captured the colorful architecture and the wonderful street life of this beautiful country.
