Aging in Place+Gallivant, in collaboration with Darien Library and Michael Joseph's Catering, invites seniors to attend a luncheon at Michael Joseph's prior to the film. Beginning at 11:45 a.m., seniors are welcome to enjoy a complimentary drink and dessert with the purchase of lunch. Afterward, we'll attend this month's Wednesday matinee at the Library next door. Seniors can choose to simply attend the lunch or just the movie. A saucy American showgirl in London is wooed by a roving-eyed Duke, but his estranged son, the young King, interrupts their late supper with politics and angry accusations.

The plot of 2012’s “My Week With Marilyn” centers around the filming of “The Prince and the Showgirl.” We’ll be screening the latter to lead up to our screening of “My Week With Marilyn” on Friday, March 23 at 6:30 and 8:30 PM.
