This class is designed for writers looking for a comprehensive step-by-step approach to writing their memoir. Lesson topics and helpful exercises will be given at each class to help students develop their storyline. Each class will include time for Q&A and as the class progresses, the sharing and critiquing of each other's work. Reference materials will be provided.
The class will be taught by Laura Woodward Cavers, who currently heads up the Darien Library Writers' Group. She recently received an MFA in Creative Writing from Manhattanville College where she was assistant editor to the college's award-winning literary magazine, Inkwell. She is currently working on her novel, Bellwethers.
