Thursday, October 9th at 3 p.m.

Senior Moments, a monthly coffee and conversation program designed specifically for seniors, will meet in our Conference Room.

Line dancing is fun, easy to learn, a great social outlet and fantastic exercise! Come and enjoy the wonderful world of line dancing by learning simple steps to such popular group dances as the "Cha-Cha Slide", the "Cupid Shuffle" and more! All steps are done in a line, thus, no partners are necessary. After mastering the basic moves, students will be encouraged to add their own personal flair. It is as easy going or active as you like! No dance experience necessary, these are beginner movements. Dress comfortably. Leather-soled shoes encouraged.

Presented by Sharyn Farrell, who has over 15 years of dance experience teaching and performing throughout CT. She has an extensive dance background, however line dance and ballroom dance are her teaching specialties, where she inspires playfulness and the building of strong relationships through the dynamics of group and partner dance.

Save the date for our next Senior Moments program on Thursday, November 13th at 3 p.m. Topic T.B.D.

Support for Senior Moments is provided by the Connecticut State Library (CSL) and the Institute for Museum and Library Sciences (IMLS), an independent federal agency whose mission is to create strong libraries and museums that connect people to information and ideas.
