For best scheduling, contact Erin Shea at firstname.lastname@example.org to confirm audition appearance and approximate time of arrival. Auditions will take place in the Library’s Conference Room, located on the Mezzanine level. Flexible evening and weekend rehearsal schedule will begin in September and run through the beginning of October.
Summary of Plays:
"Sure Thing" by David Ives is the story of Betty and Bill who meet, by chance, at a cafe. Their conversation moves along with help from outside forces.
In "Hotline" by Elaine May, a neurotic woman with enough urban angst to fill a neighborhood calls a suicide crisis hotline late one night. The counselor who gets the call is overwhelmed - it is his first night on the job.
The performances of Weekend One-Acts will take place in the Community Room on Friday, October 11 at 7 p.m., and on Sunday, October 13 at 2 p.m.
