Party Nuts! 50 Recipes for spicy, sweet, savory, and simply sensational nuts that will be the hit of any gathering

is a book that we all mocked when it came in last week. A book soley dedicated to the spicing of a variety of nuts for parties? Is this what things have come to? One of our fellow Desketeers informed us it was one of her favorite books for entertaining and she had made everything in it.

We remained skeptical but became converts when this morning she brought in a sample of the Hot Pepper Sugar Walnuts. Fabulous! With the Hellidays just around the corner, we are all now convinced that this is something worthy of a second look and we vow never to judge a book by its cover again. Or at least for a while!
