November, a great time for updating your archives...
Hello Patrons,
As if you needed another great reason to come visit the Circ staff at the Darien Library, I have taken the liberty of providing you with one. This November we have a small book sale--displayed adjacent to the checkout counter--for all you eager bargain readers. Soft and hard-cover books as well as books-on-tape are $2.00 each, or 3 for $5.00. Paperbacks are selling like hot cakes at $ 0.25 each or 5 for $1.00, and the beloved DVDs are a steal at $5.00, with videos for just $2.00.
Also, this just in--detective mystery book special, all on sale, just 3 for $1.00. Now, you may be asking yourself-what if I only want to buy one of them? Well, I've done the math and that would make them roughly $0.33 each.
Want a book the little ones can enjoy? The children's room has also joined in on the fun. Selected children's books are on sale for $1.00. You can't even buy a juice box for that these days. So come on in and steal a deal on the "pre-book sale" sale.
