Monday, October 12 from 3 to 4 pm
Ages 8 and up
Using plenty of props and famous works of art as examples, the author of Summer Reading pick Why’d They Wear That?! will share the lighter side of fashion and history as she explains why people wore some of those crazy clothes. You'll get the inside scoop on what people wore (or didn't wear) for underwear, deadly dyes, kids in corsets, how knights used the bathroom, and more--and you'll never be bored at a museum again!
Check out one of Sarah Albee's books before the big day!
Open - no registration necessary. Tickets will be distributed 15 minutes before the program. In the Louise Parker Berry Community Room.
