Here are the programs we will be offering in the month of May for One Book, One Community:

Flying Machines
Wednesday, May 7th at 4pm

Grades 3 to 6
It's a bird! It's a plane! Come craft all different kinds of flying machines.

Family Film: Planes

Sunday, May 11th at 2pm
All ages
A family matinee of Disney’s Planes. A plane with a fear of heights goes on to compete in an around-the-world aerial race.

Family Book Discussion
Tuesday, May 13th at 6pm

Ages 9 to 12 and a family member
Parents, grandparents, and siblings are invited to a family book discussion of Born to Fly by Michael Ferrari. Dinner will be provided at this event. Register

The Wright Stuff
Tuesday, May 27th at 4:15pm

Grades K to 6
Science takes off with this popular Children’s Museum program on flying. Learn about air pressure, the forces of flight, and follow the history of aviation from balloons to parachutes to planes to helicopters to rockets. *This event will take place in the Louise Parker Berry Community Room. Tickets will be distributed 15 minutes before the program.*
