Architect for the New Library Project
Peter Gisolfi Associates of Hastings-on-Hudson in Westchester County, New York is the firm designing our new building, and its site.
Library staff, trustees and members of the building committee have been working very closely together with Peter Gisolfi and his staff -- especially Frank Craine, a partner in the firm -- for more than two years. Since we expect to complete the project and open the new building in September 2008 (fingers crossed) it's likely that we have been working with PGA for more than half the time we will spend together.

This is a picture of Peter Gisolfi (on the right) with Director Louise Berry and George Wyper, President of the Darien Library Board of Trustees, at the announcement of the project in October 2004.
