Short Stories for Long Days, a short story discussion group, will meet on Tuesdays throughout the month of July. Beginning July 7th, the group will meet in the Conference Room on the Mezzanine. The discussion leader will be Darien resident Carroll Stenson (pictured left), who had conducted several short story groups at the Library and has established several other similar and popular programs in the community. Classic short stories and some stories by contemporary authors will be discussed -- focusing on content and themes, on characters and how they relate to our own experiences.
Copies of the short stories to be discusses will be provided.
Refreshments will be served.
Short Stories for Long Days is an Adult Summer Reading event.
