Louise is the library's fearless leader. When she's not reading about libraries, she reads travel books and cookbooks, trying what she reads about whenever she can.

Erica coordinates many of the adult programs in the library and can be seen around town, working with Darien's organizations. She likes to read non-fiction, especially memoirs.

Edie is the whirlwind behind our popular Wee Like to Move storytime. She is an educator, mom and knows an awful lot about kids' music!

Eileen loves to connect kids with that one perfect book... the book that will make them a reader. She is a school librarian when she's not in the Children's Library and when she reads books for grown-ups, she prefers historical fiction.

Jessica is a full-time library student and self-professed pop culture geek, who especially loves young adult novels about nerds, misfits and outcasts.

Tony is nearly finished with his Master's Degree in Library and Information Science at Pratt. He loves graphic novels, Ethiopian food, and the word 'moxie'.

Alex is a lover of technology and a video game enthusiast. He can often be found reading about the latest tech trends and gadgets.

Sally is a huge fan of audio books. The queen of multitasking, she can usually be found knitting, gardening or cooking, all while listening to books. Her reading tastes are eclectic, but she is especially fond of all things Austen.

Elizabeth is a recent college graduate with two Bachelor's degrees, one in Communications and one in Spanish. She is not only a huge reader, but a dancer and very light on her feet. Come watch her twirl around Main Street!

Sandy makes sure that our books and DVDs get back on the shelf when they come back to the library. She likes to reads romance novels and other beach reads.

Diane Lai is a full time library student whose main passion is Archival work. Ask her what dusty bits of fascinating paper she has handled lately.

Erica is graduating this fall with her Masters in Library Science from Pratt Institute. When not reading young adult realistic fiction, Erica enjoys riding her longboard skateboard and shoe shopping. You can find her in the Teen Lounge running programs and recommending books.

Caroline is currently pursuing her Masters in Library Science at the Pratt Institute in Manhattan. Originally from New Canaan (yes, a Rams fan) she is very much enjoying her time back in Fairfield County this summer!

Claire is a film lover who recently finished her Master’s Degree in Library Science at Pratt in Manhattan. She reads widely, conducts programs for children from infants to tweens and can sometimes be caught running through the stacks.

Blanche is our business and travel expert and a huge fan of UNC basketball and SEC football.

Kiera is a lover of children's books, especially those that are silly and/or feature giant chickens from New Jersey. She runs the program Stories on the Spectrum, a storytime for children on the autistic spectrum. Kiera enjoys helping reluctant readers, advanced readers, pre-readers, and everyone in-between.

You may know Veronica from her Organized Playgroups in town. She has a M.S. in Early Childhood Education and believes every child is gifted and ready to learn!

After spending several years in the Children's room and Technical Services ordering and processing books, Debbie is now our fundraising coordinator and the woman behind the glass on the second floor.

Stephanie keeps the sorting room humming. She can also be seen at the Friday night films where she has been known to appear dressed as a beekeeper as well as in vintage 1970’s attire.

Robin loves spending time with his daughter, Evie; reading the latest Deadpool books; and composing the occasional Shakespearian sonnet. He can often be found doing his wife’s bidding.

Abby reads a wide range of books, but to the dismay and confusion of some, is especially intrigued by Scandinavian mysteries. Note: Abby would like to point out that as a non-Scandinavian, it is actually quite difficult to keep track of the author names in the genre.

Judy keeps our computers up and running. She is responsible for our amazing fall and spring technology education series and loves to help patrons learn how to use technology.

Susan is an avid gardener, golfer and watcher of baseball. She loves the works of Jane Austen and Catherine Marshall along with pieces set during the Victorian era. Sue never passes up a good book dealing with the Paranormal in the world around us. Sue is currently a BGS Student at University of Connecticut - Stamford majoring in Human Services and is also a notary.

Claudette loves her horses and dogs. She keeps the fiction section ship shape.

Samarpana is a former Montessori teacher and one of our Early Childhood Specialists. She conducts Giggles & Rhymes and can help anyone navigate our Picture Book collection!

Barbara is one of the voices of the Darien Library podcasts, takes most of our flickr photos, and is an unrepentant blogoholic. She keeps track of our DVD collection, sees lots (and lots) of movies, and plans our annual film series.
