Shakespeare's The Comedy of Errors Mark Schenker Sunday, June 17th at 3 p.m.
Mark Schenker will lead a discussion on The Comedy of Errors, this summer’s Shakespeare on the Sound production. Refreshments will be provided. Mark J. Schenker has been at Yale since 1990. He is currently as Associate Dean of the College and Dean of Academic Affairs as well as a lecturer in the English Department. He is a Shakespearean scholar and has led book discussions in public libraries in Connecticut for nearly 20 years. He was the recipient of the 2001 Wilbur Cross Award for Outstanding Humanities Scholar presented by the Connecticut Humanities Council. The Comedy of Errors, the 12th annual production of Shakespeare on the Sound runs from June 14th through June 30th at 7:30 p.m. nightly except Mondays in Pinkney Park in Rowayton, and in Greenwich from July 5th through July 8th at the Roger Sherman Baldwin Park. The discussion, open to the public, is sponsored by the Darien Library Annual Campaign and Shakespeare on the Sound.
