I picked this book after listening to the author speak at the library. I liked her speech better than her book. It was fascinating to know how she did her research for the book.

A poignant novel written very beautifully and humorously about an uncompromising sports writer and an unknown legendary cricket player from war torn Srilanka.
Asking god if she would start getting her periods sooner than later and simultaneously wondering if she should have a religion to follow are the two most important things in Margaret's 12 year old life. Well written but wish there were more.
Another WWII story based on the journal accounts of a German woman.
