Everyone's typical mid grade romance novel. Nothing more.
Taliban Cricket Club -there couldn't be a better example for an oxymoron. Very well written though the flow was predictable.
All the stories are typical Lahiri stories. Very well written but invariably all of them have a sad ending.
" Whatever happened to an idealistic rebellious young woman who believed she could change the world with all her friends". If this question pops in your mind every now and then, then this novel has one of the good answers. A very well written story about four friends in India who were once political and social activist and later lost on their own world only to be reunited under an unfortunate circumstance.
It was a very fast read and I enjoyed reading it. Wife 22 is about a 21st century woman (juggling a middle class family and a low paying job, FB ing to seek peace)who is about to have a midlife crisis which may or may not have caused by an online marriage survey. An easy read novel about a very serious problem many have without knowing it.
