I just happened to see a stack of these books waiting to be read on a chance visit to the library. The whole book is a gem of information not only on the food habits of a series of European immigrants but also of how they lived and work in the time period of about 1850 to the 20s. A very interesting read.
To cover fully 80+ years of Americans in Paris is impossible. McCullough has given us a taste of the famous ojnes first from the 1830s and later the 1870s. Many events in Paris not generally before revealed here. A good read.
A summer read that is pure fiction and merges into fanasy. It could never occur in the real world.
James Patterson has gone too far co-authoring this empty novel. It occupied less than 3 hours of unhappy reading.
Allon and his team save the world again but Gabriel gets pretty beaten up in tis story. Silva needs to find a younger hero for future books
