Paul Madriani and his team on the trail of "Liquida" from the previous book. Lots of action and shooting. Its fiction but fun and now they need a new adversary for the next book.
More compelling fiction with several surprises at the end. I don't understand how a person can convince 3 intelligent parties in a standoff that he is working exclusively for each party but it happened here.
Lucas Davenport in a flash back as a rookie officer has a lead on kidnapping and murder of two sisters. Many years later it becomes a race to solve a cold case once thought resolved. Davenport and his BCA crew think it through.
Tom Clancy has a new leading man. Max Moore is a Navy Seal in the CIA taking a big bite from the drug and terrorist problems of the world. Fast paced even for 750 pages. It is hard to put aside. Strong on both current events and fears. Lots of action.
This is a typical Clive Cussler story. If you like Cussler you'll like this. A minimal plot and a story line not too realistic but entertaining for an evening or two.
