This film was a disappointment, to say the least. There were a few exciting scenes, but in general it was dull and totally unbelievable. I'm a huge fan of good sci-fi, but "Battleship" sank to the bottom of the sea, and is not worth salvaging. (btw, if you want to see a great sci-fi film, try "District 9")
This was probably the most poorly-written book I've ever read. Actually, it was so bad I didn't bother finishing it. Affirmed himself could have done a better job. Run from this disaster at a full gallop!
I found this book enthralling. Honestly I couldn't put it down!
A big Thank You to the Darien Library for showing the excellent film version of this book, for that's what made me want to read it.
Very disappointing and boring...I only read 1/3 of the book. That was really all I could stand! Since I truly loved the earlier books in the series, I really can't understand what happened. It's really sad that this series has ended with a dud.
In this film, artistic license mutates into cancer. Most of this movie was simply not historical. Beethoven's life was actually very interesting! I read my first bio of Beethoven in high school (DHS of course.)
Is there some law against films that at least attempt to portray important figures historically?
