This was a great book; an adventure touched with much humor and also much poignancy. It was a good opportunity to learn about Asperger's, which I knew very little about. Seriously, I just couldn't put this book down--I just kept reading it and ignored all the work I should have been doing.
When will I learn to ignore the siren call of the great books in the Darien Library?
This film was a disappointment, to say the least. There were a few exciting scenes, but in general it was dull and totally unbelievable. I'm a huge fan of good sci-fi, but "Battleship" sank to the bottom of the sea, and is not worth salvaging. (btw, if you want to see a great sci-fi film, try "District 9")
This was probably the most poorly-written book I've ever read. Actually, it was so bad I didn't bother finishing it. Affirmed himself could have done a better job. Run from this disaster at a full gallop!
I found this book enthralling. Honestly I couldn't put it down!
A big Thank You to the Darien Library for showing the excellent film version of this book, for that's what made me want to read it.
Very disappointing and boring...I only read 1/3 of the book. That was really all I could stand! Since I truly loved the earlier books in the series, I really can't understand what happened. It's really sad that this series has ended with a dud.
