It is a sweet story.
It's Ms Ann's recommendation. A good read. This is a story about Mina's family, which is rooted in the imaginary Island nation of Pi in the Bay of Bengal between India and Srilanka, but spread over the UK and the US and the story revolves around Meterling, Mina's eldest cousin. The story is about family, tradition, culture and relationships and how it shaped Mina and her family. Well written and the characters are well developed. But why the imaginary island and a very realistic tamil brahmin culture for the back drop?
