Not sure what this book is about, and can't really think of a reason to recommend it to anyone. It was an easy read, with some tension to keep the pages turning, but can't really come up with any good descriptions of what it was about or why someone should read it. There were some funny lines here and there, but it just didn't seem to GO anywhere. I didn't like Bel Canto and never finished it, so this book of Patchett's was easier for me to get through, but still not a favorite. My book group discussed this book and of the 10 of us, most had similar overall responses to the book. There wasn't much to talk deeply about beyond some decent character development, lacks deep plot development, settings are important. So, a light read that won't change your life much.
