OK, but I liked her others better
I like Dunant's other books better, especially Birth of Venus. I was so looking forward to reading this story. It involves an interesting historical context and religious setting, but a very predictable story line. It was also one of those stories where it almost seemed like the author decided she was tired of writing this story, and suddenly the plot turned and the story ended. I didn't like that transition at all as it felt very predictable and convenient. Easy to read, but not as high quality as her other books.
