Intro to Coding with Hopscotch



Our first Intro to Coding program in the T|E|A Room was largely successful due to the simplicity of Hopscotch

Hopscotch is an app specifically designed to teach kids how to code. It's kid-friendly design and usability made it the perfect tool for teaching a class of kids Grades 3 to 6.

LED Throwies



Last week we made LED Throwies using a few basic materials: LEDs, lithium batteries, rare earth magnets and electric tape. 

It was easy to construct both for our 3rd/4th grade group, as well as the 5th and 6th grade group.
