The Darien Technology Foundation Center at the Darien Library is a state-of-the-art computer lab, equipped with an 82-inch instructional monitor. In the fall and spring of each year, the Library offers a full slate of free technology classes in the Technology Center for Darien residents, those who work full time in Darien, and non-resident Contributors to the Library at the $300 level. All classes are free, and the classes are taught by Library staff and outside instructors, all of whom are paid from contributions to the Friends of the Darien Library. 

When not in use for instructional purposes,  the Tech Center is available for general patron use. Among the special equipment available in the Tech Center are:

• Drawing Tablets
• Headphones
• Memory Card Readers
• Scanners
• Zip Drive
