Roxio EZ CD Creator

Roxio EZ CD Creator is an application that allows to write to recordable CDs. CD-ROMs of data files can be created, as well as music CDs that can be played on any audio CD player. CDs have much greater capacity than floppy discs. A floppy disk can hold as much as 1.44mb, whereas a CD can store 640mb or 700mb. CDs are also much more reliable than floppies. Floppies are magnetic media which can easily be damaged, losing your valuable data. CDs use a solid film of metallic material protected behind layers of plastic to protect the data. EZ CD Creator is easy to use, with a windows explorer view of your computer on the top half of the screen, and the layout of your CD on the bottom. Simply "drag-and-drop" files from the top, to your planned layout at the bottom. After you finish arranging the files on the CD, ensure that you have a recordable disc in the drive, and press the Record button. (Make sure to "Finalize" the disc if you want to be able to read it on any computer). After a few minutes, your CD will be complete. This superior alternative to floppy is quickly becoming the standard way to move files. Some new computers, such as apple imacs, are now created without floppy drives at all.
