Happening Annual knit-a-thon!Tuesday, September 30, 2008 - 9:44am — Sarah Ludwig
Teens, join us for our annual knit-a-thon, from 3-5 p.m. on Friday, October 17th. We'll be knitting scarves and hats for the benefit of those staying in the shelters run by the Domestic Violence Crisis Center (DVCC). The knit-a-thon is also open to adults and children--bring your friends and family! We'll provide patterns, knitting needles, and yarn. The final drop-off of hats and scarves will be on Friday, November 21. Registration (as well as previous knitting experience) is required and you can do that at the Children’s Room desk: call 655-1234 x117 or stop by! At the Galley Party, we give away free advance copies of books (aka galleys). Sign up by calling the Library at 655-1234 x117.
