Beer may consist of only four base ingredients but the world's second most loved beverage is as varied as the people that live on this planet. Author and cartoonist Em Sauter will take on you an illustrated journey through the continents exploring how people brew, enjoy, and imbibe beer. Refreshments will be served.
About the Presenter
Em Sauter (a former Darien resident!) is an MFA graduate of cartooning from the famed Center for Cartoon Studies in White River Junction, VT and the founder of the award winning website Pints and Panels! She's a cartoonist, podcaster, author, beer judge, and public speaker. She currently resides in New Britain, CT and is an Advanced Cicerone (like a sommelier but for beer). Her first book Beer is for Everyone! (of Drinking Age) was published in 2017 by One Peace Books. She loves dark lagers.
