Learn about the wonderful world of capture-the-flag (CTF) competitions with the DHS Programming Club. CTFs are fun online programming and cybersecurity competitions that anyone can participate in! Earn points by solving puzzles, and showing off your l33t skills. No programming knowledge is required, in fact even if you do have programming and computer science skills many of these problems will be unlike anything you have seen. We will teach the basic skills of these capture-the-flag competitions, in categories ranging from reverse engineering to cryptography, then give you free reign to try the problems you feel are most suited to your skill set with support from us.

For those who want to experience a CTF but can't make it to this session, as well as those who want to explore CTFs further after the session, the DHS Programming Club is proud to present, in partnership with the Darien Library, our very own CTF: PekoeCTF 2020. More information regarding PekoeCTF is available online at ctf.dhsprogramming.com
