Closed on Monday, January 18th for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day
Children will explore topics in game design with the purpose of understanding the cause and effect of exact commands to actions that a computer performs. Kids will work with visual coding languages that will introduce them to coding blocks that control movement, sounds, and graphics. Using these blocks they begin to craft their first games and stories, adding in animation as they start learning. Participants will be able to share their games with family and friends as they go along.
Ages 8 to 11.
This program will take place on Zoom. We will email all participants the Zoom room link. If you need any assistance with registering, please email Samantha Cardone at scardone@darienlibrary.org!
