Born and raised in Osaka, Japan, Motoko’s stories raise the young listener’s awareness and understanding of Asian history and culture. Clad in a Japanese jacket called a haori, Motoko shares folktales from Japan, China, Korea and Southeast Asia using participatory songs and mime. This digital recording will be followed by a live demonstration of simple origami project at the end of the program.
Ages 5 and up.
This program will take place on Zoom. We will email all participants the Zoom room link on the day of the program.
