Game Design with Scratch

This program requires registration

Go behind the scenes of video games to learn how they are made. Dive right into programming using Scratch where you will create animations, develop stories, and solve problems. This is a perfect introduction to computer programming or opportunity to continue build programming skills from previous courses. The computer science concepts learned in this class can be used for many coding projects kids are likely to encounter in future endeavors.

Technology Requirements: PC or Mac. Scratch is absolutely free to use! I encourage you to create a free Scratch account for your child before the start of the first session. Questions? Contact Angela Perez at aperez@darienlibrary.org.

Ages 8 to 12.
