The Magic of Eric Qiu

This program requires registration

Thursday, July 29, 2021
6:00 pm - 6:45 pm
Community Room

Eric Qiu will amaze children and their parents with his award winning magic show. This one of a kind performance utilizes illusion, mind reading, comedy, and audience participation all intertwined with a message about libraries, the value of books, and the importance of reading.

Families will be enchanted by Eric's story of being born in a publishing family and the first time he found a magic book at a local library. These books would teach him all the magic that a young magician would need to know. Never before seen magic and illusions make this to be a show that you and your family will long remember. This incredible magician even uses parents from the audience to demonstrate a Houdini escape right from the history books!

In order to maintain social distancing rules, we will be offering two performances at 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. Please only register for one of the performances. Register every member of your family (including adults) who plan to attend the event. If you do not register each member of your party in advance, we may not have available seating for them.

If you need any assistance with registering, please email Samantha Cardone at scardone@darienlibrary.org!

Library Mask Guidelines

We will be requiring all attendees to wear a mask in the Community Room to protect our young patrons.

Everyone over the age of 2 should wear a mask at all times while in the Children's Library. Presenters who are located more than six feet away from attendees may remove their mask to provide clear instructions. The health and safety of our patrons is paramount to us. Thank for your cooperation!
